19th Visayas Area Business Conference
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) will host the Visayas Area Business Conference (VABC) on June 24-26, 2010 at the City Sports Club Cebu.
Now on its 19th year, the VABC is the first of PCCI’s five major area business conferences leading to the Philippine Business Conference and Expo on October 2010. With CCCI as the host chamber, the VABC will gather the region’s stakeholders to discuss various issues and concerns affecting business, promote opportunities in trade and investments, as well as come up with strategic alliances that tackle various advocacies necessary for the area’s development.
The organizers adopted the forward-looking theme “Public-Private Partnership towards Sustainable Development” for the 19th VABC. This is in recognition of the fact that the multifarious development challenges facing the Visayas area in particular and the world in general can only be surmounted if government and the private sector effectively work together.
