Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Harry Radaza and Fritzie Ken, Lapu-lapu City Tourism Officer vis-à-vis with Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. marks the kick-off of Lapu-Lapu City's Summer Tradition "Kadaugan Street Party 2012". Kadaugan Street Party in Mactan is the biggest festival-mardigras of Lapu-Lapu City patterned after the festivals in South America. Kadaugan Street Party started 2011, in addition to the original "Kadaugan sa Mactan" or "Bahug-Bahug sa Mactan" which is re-enacted annually every April 27th for the 1521 Battler of Mactan, the area now is called Mactan Shrine. Kadaugan Street Party 2012 is on April 27th (Friday) and April 28th (Saturday) 2012 at the stretched of M.L. Quezon National Highway in between Mactan Old Bridge and Marcelo Fernan Bridge.

• Selling Booths – Shop til you drop and enjoy amazing bargain finds on clothes. bags, accessories and other cool items
• Kadaugan Street Party ALA Amateur Boxing Night – Get up close to the boxing action and cheer for your favorite amateur fighters.
• Street Dance Competition – Check out all the exciting moves, tricks and flips by talented dance groups from all over the city.
• Live DJ’s from Penthouse – Dance all day and party all night to the live DJ’s from one of Cebu’s biggest clubs.
• Let’s Share TV’s Wet T-shirt Party – It doesn’t get any hotter with this extravaganza of sexy ladies.
• Kadaugan Street Party Carnival – Unleash the child in you and be amazed by the exciting carnival performers.
• Kadaugan Street Party Midnight Beer Run (3k and 6K) – Run, Walk or crawl your way in this fun activity that is unlike any other you've ever seen and heard before.

• Kadaugan Street Party Car Show – This spectacular show of pimped-out cars and sound systems will make you green with envy.
• Kadaugan Street Party Rampada – The most-awaited event of the Kadaugan Street Party. See most beautiful ladies of the island as they celebrated a centuries-old tradition. (Rampada is coined from two words “Rampa” and “Karsada”)
• Street Entertainment – Live music, games, and a whole lot more for all party goers.
• Live Performances @ 360 Stage – Be entertained by the hottest local music acts in Cebu.
• Fireworks – Watch the sky burst into color in the spectacular fireworks show.
• Rampada After Party – The rampada never ends as everyone is invited to party the night away.

For the Midnight Beer Run (3K & 6K distances only), there is no registration fee but a 100 pesos donation, no singlets but you will receive a race number that entitles you to access to unlimited beer in stations in the run events. Midnight Beer Runners that can complete the run will be entitled for a specially designed shirts “I SURVIVED THE BEER RUN.” from the Organizers.
