Christmas season tradition continues at Starbucks with 2017 Planner & more

Christmas Season is longest in the Philippines, when the suffix of the calendar month reads 'ber' you will then a get a hint of it by hearing Christmas songs in malls and on radio stations making Christmas to be just around the corner. This year Starbucks kicks off the spirit of the season during the Christmas Grand Launch last October 29 and 30 at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-la Plaza in Mandaluyong City. Along with the Christmas Grand Launch is the preview of the 2017 Starbucks Philippines Planner, it comes in two sizes: regular and the weekly format and two designs: Coffee stains and Blue siren.


The Starbucks 2017 Planner designs are done in hardbound cloth covers. The blue siren planner is anything but aqua, teal and jade ocean colors while the Coffee stain is an artistic application of coffee-art, both planners is now available for redeeming until March 9, 2017. Once you redeemed your Starbucks 2017 Planner you will also get your Starbucks erasable pen, Coffee stickers, a Macchiato magnetized bookmark, Starbucks discount coupons, a designed cloth pouch with zipper: navy blue with gold mermaid tail print for blue siren and espresso-colored pouch with a gold coffee stamp for coffee stain. Every redeemed planner sends a donation to Starbucks partner NGO: Teach for the Philippines (TFP) and The Philippines Educational Theater Association (PETA) cultivating change one planner at a time.


The returning favorites Peppermint Mocha and Toffee Nut Latte are complimented with new handcrafted beverage for the holiday season: the Santa Hat Dark Mocha is characterized by decadent dark mocha topped with a base of strawberry whipped cream, strawberry drizzle and a dollop of snowy white whipped cream to create a playful “Santa Hat” look. Peppermint Mocha is a the harmony of Espresso and steamed milk sweetened with flavors of chocolate and peppermint, topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and candy cane pieces. Toffee Nut Latte is Steamed milk, espresso and toffee nut syrup and topped off with whipped cream and toffee nut sprinkles.


Starbucks Christmas Blend also returns, the coffee enjoyed in more than 60 countries around the world since 1984 showcasing Starbucks artistry in roasting and blending. The 2016 Starbucks Christmas blend uses the finest aged Sumatra beans and lively Latin American and mellow Indonesian coffees. This year’s Christmas Blend lineup includes: Starbucks Christmas Blend and Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast (priced at 445 Pesos). Also available in a variety of formats from whole bean variety, Starbucks Christmas Blend Origami, a pre-portioned ground coffee with single-use filters (priced at 295 Pesos) and the Starbucks VIA Ready Brew Christmas Blend, a Christmas solution for coffee lovers on the go (priced at 395 Pesos).

Savor the Christmas season with new and returning favorites: Chocolate Toffee Nut Loaf (65 pesos), Peppermint Brownie (75 pesos), Gingerbread Cookie (55 pesos), Chicken Fajita Roll (100 pesos)and the Chocolate Crepe Cake (140 pesos). Holiday Starbucks Cards features vibrant designs with the colors of the season. This year’s Snowman and Holiday Tree Cards have a backdrop of wintery scenes in a hand-painted finish, offered first time in the Philippines, the Happy Holidays Card decked with mistletoe and holiday holly collection.

The Starbucks Red Cup Card comes with a Kraft sleeve carrier mimicking an authentic cafe Red Cup. The Red Cup Card is available for an initial consumable load amount of 1000 pesos per card and is available starting November 10, 2016.
