Fright Night and few things to do at The Mactan Newtown this Halloween

The Mactan Newtown wants to treat Cebuanos and tourists this Halloween with township first-ever outdoor movie cinema dubbed as “Fright Night,” the Outdoor Cinema is located besides The Mactan Alfresco and will feature 3 of the best horror movies on Sunday October 30 from 5 pm onwards. This is a new experience for the family and friends to celebrate Halloween. Showing later are It, The Ring and The Purge.
The 30-hectare township in Mactan Island that imbibes Megaworld's Live-Work-Play-Learn concept prepares other exciting adventures and fun activities for the Halloween celebration this year. Here are few other things to check out at The Mactan Newtown:
The 11.5-hectare beachfront property area of the township now The Mactan Newtown Beach (old Portofino Beach Resort) is now open to the public with different water activities to do such as Stand Up Paddling, Jet Skis, Banana Boat and are best done with with family and friends. The Mactan Newtown Beach is open from 7AM to 7PM, Entrance Fee per person is only 150 pesos on weekdays and 199 pesos on weekends.
The newest dining hub in Mactan, the Mactan Alfresco offers delectable food curated from what Cebu can offer in one place. The Mactan Alfresco gives diners a whole new way of experiencing at the world-famous Cebu lechon and a onsite Lechon Pit that opens until 10 p.m. Live colorful performances showcasing Cebuano culture and tradition will entertain guest every weekend.
The Civet Coffee
The Civet Coffee, located at the ground floor of Manulife Tower offers a homey ambiance having grey tile flooring, wooden furniture and warm lights and great service. Beside the Coffee shop are all time favourites Mister Donut, McDonald’s and 7/11 store where you can have your own comfort food.
